A national search is underway to attract highly qualified candidates for an exciting opportunity to lead the University at Buffalo Police Department (UBPD). With a budget of $6 million, the UB Police Department has 65 sworn personnel, 13 civilian employees, and approximately 55 part-time students providing key services including emergency response, crime prevention, criminal investigation and personal safety education. The Chief of Police is responsible for managing, planning, and directing the law enforcement activities associated with a culturally diverse, multi-sited, university campus that includes more than 36,000 students, faculty and staff. Salary is up to $189K.
